The Germantown Flute Ensemble is made up of a core trio whose members include Katie Ambacher, Anne Levinson and Elivi Varga. Performing on Piccolo, C flute, Alto flute and Bass flute, concerts by the Germantown Flute Ensemble are varied as well as educational, and include repertoire of music from the 1700s to the present. The ensemble prefers smaller venues such as house concerts that promote a relaxed atmosphere for the audience, giving the opportunity to ask the performers questions about their instruments and music played.
